The hot box seems as robust or better than other products in price range. Set up is easy, good directions. The steam pot was cycling through first three sessions so didn't get too hot, could stay in 30 minutes. Now it stays on continuously till timer goes off and will give a good roast in 20 minutes. Let it warm up 10-12 till you hear steamer burble. I placed three sguares of 2" blue foam in bottom to get my neck level with neck cuff using the supplied chair, throwing a big towel over them to absorb water and comfy for bare feet. Unit can be adjusted to fit most short and tall people. The small towel makes a good neck wrap to seal the velcro adjustible opening. Zippered hand holes are nice if you need to scratch your face! Add water to fill line each session and don't let pot boil out. You can stay in longer than boil time if needed and you sweat 15-30 minutes after exit. 20 minutes of full steam and my old body says get me outta here! Remember to use distilled water for non-sludging up of the heat plate. Push the steam tube firmly into the 'Y' spreader at rear. Never imagined such an effective, portable and inexpensive device could give me in my small home what I've pined for these 40 years.
